Travel information for Virginia Tech Alumni

CollegeTransit has been providing transportation and travel services to colleges for over 10 years.  Now we are helping Hokie alumni cheer on their team in person!

With convenient departures from metro areas, we will give VT alumni an alternate transportation method to attending football games.  Why drive yourself for hours and spend hundreds of dollars on a hotel room?  Instead, make your football trip a day trip.  You'll no longer have to argue with your significant other as to why you have to be away 8 weekends in the fall.  It's a win-win situation.

Virginia Tech vs. Southern California at FedEx Field - August 28th
NOVA residents will leave from the Reston East Park & Ride @ Wiehle, Vienna Metro, Fair Oaks Mall (Btwn Hecht's and Lord & Taylor), Ballston Mall (on Wilson Blvd) and the Springfield Metro destined for the VaTech Alumni Association tailgate at FedEx field.  The cost is $30 per person, which does not include the cost of the football ticket or tailgate.  Please use Book Your Trip for details on all NOVA trips and schedules.  Feel free to bring along the "tailgating necessities" but please DO NOT bring glass on board the bus.  It is prohibited.

The bus will drop passengers off at the VaTech Alumni Chapter tailgate next to FedEx field.  Passengers not participating in the tailgate are still welcome on the bus, as they can still walk over to FedEx field.  Everyone MUST return to the drop off point after the game.

*Pick up locations are subject to change (within reason) as we learn the origins of alumni.  Most likely we will only ADD additional locations rather than change existing locations.
